Origin of Roman Catholic Church
The Roman Catholic Church has no official starting date, but the earliest sign of Catholic practices was when Jesus taught about what's right and wrong. In 325 A.D. The Council Of Nicea was the first ecumenical post-apostolic church in the Christian community that recognised that Christianity was a belief. Furthermore in years 440-461 A.D. Pope Leo I was the first Pope to take control over the churches worldwide. It introduce papacy, a Roman Catholic structure. The Great Schism is when Christianity is divided into different denominations and Western Catholicism is established.
